Oh, fuck me. I didn't make it in to Red this time. I am in shock. I felt really good at the Placement Sessions. Skated my freaking heart out. I really thought I'd made it.
And today, got an email that said, in part, "The results of your evaluations for the Red sessions are in and you have been placed in Green."
And now I'm crying at work. Gonna be a great day.

Jennie, i am so sorry. fwiw, i thought you looked really good. as i mentioned in my blog, i'm glad i tried out last season because it would have been hard to make it this time.
still, it was fun hanging out with you, K, and G aftewards - we need to do that more often.

Jennie, I'm sorry. I completely understand and commiserate, since I'm in the same boat as you are. It was quite a disappointment for me as well to get that note today. :sigh:

Seriously, I know that disappointment, rock it for a while and then get back to proving them wrong.
Saw your post on Cheddah's blog. Hang in there, been through this myself and know it is no fun. Ask the Eval Coordinator for what you need to work on and get on the sub list. Tap into friends in red and sub sub sub.

Think of it this way! You get more ice time... you get to play in green, sub in all the other green games, and have the opportunity to sub in Red games too!
